FAQ

Why without sweeteners and flavorings – does it taste like nothing then?
That's exactly the point. Most protein powders only taste sweet or fruity because sweeteners and flavorings are added – and that's precisely what we've left out. Vegan Protein Care+ has a neutral taste: no sweeteners, no flavorings, no additives. You mix it with water, a plant-based drink, smoothie, or yogurt and decide for yourself how it tastes.

The name says "Fermented Berries," but the taste is neutral. How does that fit together?
Fair question. "Fermented Berries" doesn't refer to the flavor, but rather to one of the three components: Berriotics® – fermented berries as the active ingredient in the formula, not as a flavoring. They are carefully fermented and do not impart a berry taste. The flavor intentionally remains neutral.

What's inside – what makes it different from other vegan proteins?
Three components. First, organic rice and pea protein with all nine essential amino acids, 83 g protein per 100 g. Second, DigeZyme®, a complex of five digestive enzymes. Third, Berriotics®, fermented berries. No sweetener, no flavor, no additives. This combination is unique among vegan proteins in the DACH market.

Am I getting enough protein – is this a "complete" protein?
Yes. Rice protein alone is low in lysine, pea protein low in methionine – together they complement each other to create a complete profile with all nine essential amino acids, all above the WHO/FAO reference value. Per serving (25 g) you get 20.6 g of protein. Protein contributes to an increase in muscle mass and to the maintenance of muscle mass.¹

What are the enzymes (DigeZyme®) for?
DigeZyme® is a complex of five digestive enzymes from non-animal sources – for carbohydrates, proteins, fats, plant fibers, and lactose. It has been used worldwide in dietary supplements for over 20 years and is clinically researched. We deliberately added it to our protein because we wanted a powder that doesn't feel heavy.

What are the fermented berries (Berriotics®)?
A blend of ten berry varieties fermented over eight weeks in a four-stage process. This creates polyphenols, short-chain fatty acids, and postbiotic compounds – more than in a classic berry extract. Berriotics® is FODMAP-friendly.

How do I take it, and how long does one package last?
One serving is two measuring spoons (25 g), which you stir into approximately 300 ml of water, plant-based drink, or a smoothie – or mix into yogurt. The 500 g package contains 20 servings. At one serving per day, it lasts for 20 days.

Is this also for me if I'm not an athlete?
Yes. Care+ is not a performance product and is not tied to a training goal. It's a clean, well-tolerated protein for everyday use – for women who want to give their bodies high-quality protein without the additives found in most powders. No hack, no protocol. Just good protein.

I don't tolerate many things / have a sensitive stomach. Can I take it?
Care+ is deliberately kept clean: no sweeteners, no flavorings, no emulsifiers, no preservatives. It is vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, GMO-free, and contains none of the 14 allergens requiring labeling. The Berriotics® are FODMAP-friendly and postbiotic (not probiotic).
